TUITION & FEES

2010-2011 School Year
REGISTRATION FEE 
$200.00 PER CHILD in Kindergarten – 8th Grade
This non-refundable fee declares your intent and guarantees your child’s admission for the coming school year, and enables the school administration both accurate information and necessary capital for classroom and curriculum decisions in the spring and early summer.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
There are three payment options available for Tuition & Fees (monthly, two payments or full payment). Tuition Express is our only monthly payment option. All monthly Tuition Express deductions will occur on the 15th of each month (Sept – May).
PER CHILD ASSESSMENTS
The cost to educate one child at Our Shepherd Lutheran School is more than $5,100. Our Shepherd Lutheran Church is passionate about education and therefore graciously subsidizes each member child’s tuition by at least $3,100 and each non-member’s child’s tuition by at least $500.
 
Non-Member Tuition
$4470.00 per child for grades 1st – 8th and Full Day Kindergarten
$2235.00 per child for Half-Day Kindergarten.
 
    Member Tuition
       $1815.00 per child for grades 1st-8th and Full Day Kindergarten
       $ 910.00 per child for Half-Day Kindergarten
There are requirements for Member Tuition status – please ask the school office for details.
 
Capital Assessment
$100.00 per student, maximum of $200.00 per family.
 
PTL Dues (for membership activities and classroom parties)
$30.00 per family.
 
TUITION ASSIST PROGRAM
Through God’s grace, Our Shepherd members have provided funding to assist school families with Our Shepherd Lutheran School tuition. School families should submit applications through Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS), a third party, secure financial assistance processing company. TADS reviews the application and recommends an amount of assistance based on the financial need and the amount of assistance funds. Applications are available on-line at www.tuitionaid.com.  Applications must be in the TADS office by 4/30/2010 in order to be eligible for financial aid. Award letters will be sent by the church office during the week of May 14, 2010.
