“Defending the Faith” OSL Men’s Retreat at Weber Center, Adrian, MI
“Defending the Faith,” the 2012 Our Shepherd Lutheran Men’s Retreat is scheduled for Friday, February 24 - Sunday, February 26 at the Weber Conference Center in Adrian, Michigan. The Weber Conference Center is located at Sienna Heights University. The retreat features Mr. Bob Dutko, a leading voice in the fearless defense of Christian truth, using logic, reason, science, history, and factual evidence to disarm the critics and equip believers.

Each year the Family Life ministry heads to Frankenmuth for two days of fun. Join your friends and make new ones at this fun location. Parents and children alike will enjoy swimming, relaxing, and loads of fun. Each family makes their own reservations at 1-800-863-7999. Fathers, Grandfathers, and Special Friends, mark your calendar for February, 10, 2012, and ask that special girl to the annual Our Shepherd Lutheran Daddy/Daughter Dance! The evening features pizza and antipasto salad dinner, dance lessons by Ron and Phyllis Chewning, and a special portrait of you and your date(s). Consider asking your daughter and your granddaughter! Make it multigenerational! Special gift to all attendees!

Did you camp as a child? Does your family enjoy camping? The Our Shepherd Family Life Ministry has been camping for over 12 years! We camp in Michigan state parks with one trip in each of the following months, June, July, August and September. Families stay in tents, pop-ups, campers or rent a cabin on site. Family devotions take place around the campfire on Friday night, as well as, after the dinner pot luck on Saturday night. We gather together for a final time at the church service on Sunday morning around the campfire. The children play, the adults play, and everyone has a great time. Reservations for your camp site can be made six months prior to the actual camping date. Check out the attached flyer with the dates and places. Everyone is welcome!
