2012-2013 School Year
REGISTRATION FEE
$200.00 PER CHILD in Kindergarten – 8th Grade
This non-refundable fee declares your intent and guarantees your child’s admission for the coming school year, and enables the school administration both accurate information and necessary capital for classroom and curriculum decisions in the spring and early summer.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
There are three payment options available for Tuition & Fees (monthly, two payments or full payment). Tuition Express is our only monthly payment option. All monthly Tuition Express deductions will occur on the 15th of each month (Sept – May).
PER CHILD ASSESSMENTS
The cost to educate one child at Our Shepherd Lutheran School is more than $5000. Our Shepherd Lutheran Church is passionate about education and therefore graciously offers a program where every child’s tuition can be discounted.
Community Tuition & OSL Congregation Tuition
$4,950 per child for grades 1st – 8th and Full Day Kindergarten
$2,475 per child for Half-Day Kindergarten
PTL Dues (for membership activities and classroom parties)
$30 per family
TUITION ASSIST PROGRAM
Through God’s grace, Our Shepherd members have provided funding to assist school families with Our Shepherd Lutheran School tuition. Our Shepherd provides two tiers of financial support through its Our Shepherd ASSIST Fund.
Tier 1 provides a limited general discount including a multiple child discount for both Community and OSL Congregation school families. To apply for this discount, parents should complete the ASSIST application and turn it in to the OSL school office. Congregation families can expect a minimum grant of $2,675 per full time student. Community families can expect a minimum grant of $200 per full time student. Submission Deadline – April 2, 2012. Recipients will be notified by April 16, 2012.
Tier 2 provides need-based funding intended to help eligible Community and OSL Congregation families meet educational expenses beyond Tier 1 support. To apply for the Tier 2 funding, parents should submit applications through Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS), a third party, secure financial assistance processing company. TADS will review the application and recommend an amount of assistance based on the financial need and the amount of assistance funds. Submission Deadline – May 1, 2012. Recipients will be notified by May 26, 2012.
