Andrew d'Allemand has been playing the violin since the age of three. He studied through high school with Mark Mutter and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Michigan School of Music where he studied privately under Aaron Berofsky and with Andrew Jennings and Katherine Votapek for chamber music. While at U of M, Andrew played on William Bolcom's album Songs of Innocence and of Experience which won the 2005 Grammy Award for Classical Album of the Year. Andrew is currently studying instrumental music education at Wayne State University and is a certified Suzuki violin instructor. |
